Obituary: Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin: Anthony KRAMER ************************************************************************ Submitted by Kathy Grace, July 2004 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Daily Commonwealth July 1, 1912 Brain Fever Fatal Anthony Kramer, Member of Knights of Columbus, Succumbs to a Brief Illness Anthony Kramer, aged 29 years, and son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kramer 294 North Main street, died at 4:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon after a brief illness. Mr. Kramer was taken ill with an attack of typhoid fever at Milwaukee two weeks ago. He came home ill and finally brain fever set in. Mr. Kramer was born and reared in Fond du Lac and was well and favorable known. For a time he worked at the Hill Dry Goods store, and after this employment was in the grocery business on North Main street. For the past two years he has been employed in the Hugo E. Bouch department store in Milwaukee. He was a member of the local council Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his parents; two sisters, the Misses Anna and Lucy residing at the family home; also three brothers, Frank, of Chicago, Mathew, residing in this city, and Jacob of Milwaukee. The funeral will be held at 9:30 o'clock tomorrow morning from St. Mary's church, Rev. Godfrey Wuelffing officiating. Interment will be at Calvary cemetery.
