This obituary was found in the Brandon Times, published in Brandon,
Wisconsin. Issue - Thursday, November 20, 1919 on Page 5 / Column 2.

Miss Haidee Loechelt, daughter of Mrs. Augusta Loechelt, died Friday, Nov.
14, aged 23 years, of tuberculosis following an attack of influenza last
spring. Besides her mother, she is survived by five brothers and three
sisters. Funeral services were held in the Lutheran church on Sunday
afternoon, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Preu. Sermons were preached in
both German and English. Interment was in the Fairwater cemetery.

Postnote: Hedwig's father, Otto, is a brother to my great-grandmother,
Martha Loechelt. Hedwig was the daughter of Otto and Augusta (Riemer)
Loechelt. Her father preceded her in death in 1909. He also died of
tuberculosis. Her sister, Ella died in 1926 of tuberculosis.
