Louis Loehr, 64, Is Victim of Heart Attack; Funeral Plans Made. Louis Loehr, 64, widely known farmer in the Town of Forest, died at 4 p.m. Saturday at his home following a heart attack, which came as the climax of an extended period of ill health. Mr. Loehr was born Dec. 4, 1871 in the Town of Forest and was married Feb. 20, 1900 to Miss Catherine Wuest. The widow survives, together with seven children, Mrs. Lucy Baus, Mrs. Anna Kohlman, Mrs. Theresa Wettstein, Mrs. Cecelia Jurgensmeier, Victor, Louis and Francis at home, two sisters, Mrs. Alex Leonard, Mrs. Joseph Diedrich, five brothers, Peter, Michael, John, Henry and Anthony Loehr, all of the Town of Forest. There are 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will beheld at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday from the residence and at 10 from St. Michael’s church, Dotyville. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.” Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter, Wednesday, March 20, 1935 “MANY ATTEND SERVICES. Committal Rites For Louis Loehr Held At Dotyville Church Cemetery. Funeral services for Louis Loehr, who died Saturday, were held at 9:30 a.m. today from the residence in the Town of Forest and at 10 a.m. from St. Michael’s church in Dotyville with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Loehr was a member of the Holy Name society of the church. Pallbearers were Louis Loehr, Peter Hollerbach, Alex Leonard and Joseph, William and Edgar Wuest. Among those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wuest and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Spillman of Oshkosh, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schneider of New London and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wuest and family, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wuest, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Wuest, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Konen, Mrs. August Jesswine and Mrs. Edward Kuhler of this city.” .
