Nett, 39, a lifelong resident of the Town of Taycheedah and distributor for an Oshkosh brewing company, who died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at his home in Peebles, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the residence and at 10 a.m. from St. Peter's church at St. Peter, the Rev. E.J.Rodenkirch, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Born Aug.24, 1902, son of the late Frank Nett and Mrs. Elizabeth Nett, he attended St. Norbert's College at DePere. After completing his studies there Mr. Nett was engaged as manager of the Frank Nett company for 11 years and for 14 years as treasurer of School District 8 in Taycheedah. Mr. Nett was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Peter's church , the Knight's of Columbus, and the Catholic Knight's of Wisconsin. Surviving Mr. Nett are his widow, the former Miss Eleanor Fritz, to whom he was married Aug 24, 1926 in Holy Cross church in Mt.Calvary; eight daughters and sons, Dorine, Joan, Virginia, Mary Esther, Louis, James, Eugene Paul, and Bruce; his mother of Peebles, seven sisters and brothers, Mrs. John Loehr of Peebles, Miss Agnes Nett, and Mrs. Irene Abler of St. Peter, Sr. Alexia of St. Joseph's convent, Milwaukee, Joseph B. of Peebles, Leo A. of Taycheedah and Francis J. of St. Peter. A son, Roger Valentine died on September 21, 1939 and another sister, Leona Gilgenbach died last March. The body was removed to the residence this afternoon. Additional Comments: Mrs. Elizabeth Nett was the former Elizabeth Schneider. Mrs. John Loehr was the former Mary Louise Nett. Mrs. Irene Abler was the wife of Herman Abler, and Sr. Alexia was the former Esther Nett. Leo Nett was known as Jim.
