All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/wi/wifiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Virginia Peter richard738@centurytel.net August 28, 2006, 4:22 pm Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter, March 4, 1927 Frank Nett, well known merchant at Peebles and proprietor of Frank Nett and Company, dealers in lumber, fuel, feed, and general building supplies, died at noon today at St. Agnes hospital, where he has been undergoing treatment for a kidney disease for the last four weeks. Mr. Nett was 49 years of age. Owing to quarantine at the Nett home near St. Peter, with one of the children ill with diphtheria, the body will be removed to the home of Louis Nett, a son, residing in Peebles. The funeral is to be held Tuesday at St. Peter's church, St. Peter, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The deceased is survived by his widow and 10 children, Louis, Joseph, Leo, Mary, Leona, Esther, Agnes, Irene, Edith and Francis; also two brothers, Joseph Nett, city, and Peter Nett, Peebles; and one sister, Sr. Cecelia, a nun at Altoona PA. Mr. Nett was a member of the Knight's of Columbus, and the Holy Name cociety of St. Peter's church. Additional Comments: Frank Nett was the youngest of 11 children of Johann Nett and Maria Katharina Koenigs. He was born October 20, 1877 at St. Peter. His siblings who preceded him in death were: Michael, Mathias, Anton, Maria Anna, John, Elizabeth and Anna Maria. Sr. Cecelia's name was Agnes. Frank Nett's wife was the former Elizabeth Schneider, daughter of Stephan Schneider and Anna Maria Schmitz.
