Additional Comments: Note: My great grandfather received very little compansaion from this train wreck and because he was forced to retire because of his injuries, he lost most all his posessions and moved to Jackson, Michigan with his wife and they lived with their daughter, Leona and her family till his death. His wife,my great Grandmother, Maria Agnes Messing-Powers(Mary) or known to me as Meemo, moved to Illinois after Charles death and raised me till she passed away when I was 9 years old. A wonder woman with a heart full of love.
