Issue - Thursday, January 6, 1955 on Page 1 / Column 5. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Fair Water (sic) Lutheran church for Mrs. Henry Schmuhl, 69, who died Friday in the Waupun hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks. Rev. Peter Buenting officiated. Burial was made in the Fair Water cemetery. Pallbearers were Lloyd, John Jr., Raymond, Clarence, Herbert, and Oscar Schmuhl. The former Hulda Bloch was born April 17, 1885, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willaim Bloch, and was married Sept. 6, 1904, at Fair Water. Mr. Schmuhl died Aug. 29, 1944. The couple lived on the present farm south of Fair Water. Surviving are three sons, Everett, Appleton, Milton, Waupun, and Victor, Fair Water; a daughter, Mrs. Lolita Stevens, Oshkosh; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Gehring, Flint, Mich., Mrs. Amanda Berg, Markesan, and Mrs. Tillie Benz, Milwaukee; and a brother, Wilham Bloch, Milwaukee
