Mrs. Charles Sell, for forty-seven years a resident of this city, was found dead in her home on Grant street at 6:45 o'clock Thursday evening by her daughter, Mrs. C. F. Lange. Mrs. Sell had been in good health and spirits up to the time of her death, and when her daughter left home at 1:30 yesterday afternoon was sitting on the porch, apparently in normal health. When Mrs. Lange returned in the evening, she found her mother lying on the floor in the house. A physician pronounced death due to the natural causes of advanced age. Mrs. Sell was 84 years of age, having been born in Bucholtz-by-Ritz, Arnswalte, Germany on December 25, 1832. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Augustus Splettstoesser, and Mrs. C. F. Lange of this city, Mrs. Louisa Caruthann of Chicago, and Mrs. Charles Bartz of California. Besides these, three sons survive, namely, Adolph Sell, Milwaukee, William Sell, Oshkosh, and Otto Sell of California. There are also thirteen grandchildren surviving. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the home and at 2 from St. Peter's Lutheran church. The Rev. G. E. Bergemann will officiate. The pall bearers will be Herman Rutz, Nick Stroupe, Gustave Radloph, Louis Milkie, Fred Stolkings, and August Jens. The Daily Northwestern (Oshkosh, WI) Thursday, August 3, 1916 Annoucement has been received here of the sudden death at her home in Fond du Lac of Mrs. Charles Sell, the aged mother of William Sell of this city. Mrs. Sell, who was eighty-four years of age and had resided in Fond du Lac for forty-seven years was found dead in her home about 6:45 o'clock Tuesday evening by her daughter Mrs. C. F. Lange. A physician pronounced her death due to natural causes of advanced age. Besides her son in Oshkosh, Mrs. Sell is survived by two other sons, four daughters and thirteen grandchildren.
