Joseph Serwe Dead

Former Fond du Lac Man Dies at Seattle Wash.-Burial Will be in This City

Intelligence was received in the city today of the death of Joseph Serwe,
aged 55 years and a former resident of this city, which occurred at
Seattle, Wash., Monday night.  The remains are to be brought to this city
for interment, arriving Friday night.  Burial and funeral services will be
Saturday, but the detailed arrangements have not been completed.

Mr. Serwe left Fond du Lac ten years ago for the west.  He was engaged in
business in Seattle with his brother, Phillip Serwe as proprietor of a
manufacturing concern which handles butchers' supplies.

Mr. Serwe leaves four sisters Mrs. George Sayer, Miss Belle, Miss Lizzie,
and Miss Julia Serwe all of Chicago, and two brothers John and Phillip,
both of Seattle.
