Funeral services for Miss Katherine J. Ward, who died Friday (May 1, 1942)
at her home, 61 Cottage avenue, were held at 8:45 a.m. today from Hardgrove
and Gordon funeral home and at 9 a.m. from St. Joseph's church where the
Rev. Henry G. Riordan chanted the requiem mass. Pallbearers were W.A.
Titus, John and Thomas O'Brien, James Whealon, James Finnegan and Edward
McDonald. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. Those attending the service
included Mrs. J. Fitzgibbon, Mrs. S. Trinwith, Mr. and Mrs. William
LaFontaine, Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Ward, Miss Ellen Ward and Mr. and Mrs. John
M. Flynn and son, John, of Milwaukee; Miss Belle Curran,and Mr. and Mrs.
Emmett Curran of Campbellsport; Miss Ella McCllough, Dr. Michael Ward and
Miss Ellen Ward of Bangor; Mrs. Alice Kartendick and son, Robert, of
Hartland and Mrs. John McGivern, Mrs. Mary Heffern and Carl Kirk of Omro.
