Hope Takes Oshkosh Bride Weds Miss Margaret Freeborn this Noon To Take Trip in the East Will Live in Milwaukee, Where Mr. Hope Holds Positions with A.O. Smith Company Miss Margaret Freeborn, of Oshkosh, and Samuel Newton Hope, of this city, were married at 12 o'clock this noon at the parsonage of St. John's church, Oshkosh, the ceremony being performed by Rev. M.H. Clifford. They were attended by Miss Georgia Freeborn, a sister of the bride, and Ben Hope, of this city, a brother of the groom. The bride's gown was of white satin, veiled with pearl chiffon. She carried a shower bouquet of bridal roses and sweet peas. Her sister wore a gown of white embroidery over pink messaline and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Following the ceremony a wedding luncheon was serviced to a company of relatives and intimate friends at the home of the bride's mother on Catherine street. Mr. and Mrs. Hope left this afternoon for a trip through the east, planning to be away until the first of July. On their return they will make their home in Milwaukee and will be at home to their friends after August 1, at 1210 Twenty-eighth street. Mr. Hope is the son of Mrs. Amelia Hope, of this city. He graduated from the Fond du Lac high school in 1905 and in 1909 graduated from the University of Wisconsin, where he took an engineering course. He now holds a responsible position with the A.O. Smith company, of Milwaukee. His bride is the daughter of Mrs. Sadie Freeborn, of Oshkosh, and has many friends in Fond du Lac, where she has often been the guest of relatives and friends. Among the Fond du Lac people who attended the wedding today were: Mr. and Mrs. D. Mahoney and family, Mrs. Amelia Hope, Mr. and Mrs. George Hope, Mrs. L. Jacoby, Ben Hope, Oscar Ward, Bert Besnah, and Leo Weber.
