He was married Sept. 3, 1876, by Hiram Gilmore, to Jane K., daughter of Joseph K. and Isabel (Clark) Quick; they have had three children - Harvey Ray, born Aug. 23, 1877, died Sept. 8, 1877; Bertha, born Dec. 5, 1878; Amos Jerome, born Dec. 21, 1880. Mr. Oaks has been Town Clerk four years.
