Bloomington; owns 160 acres of land, valued at $40 per acre; born in Jefferson Co., N. Y., in 1805; came to Wisconsin, in 1845, and settled in Beetown. In 1878, he located on his present farm; he has lived in various places in the county, and has spent two years in California. He was married to Persis Butterfield, a native of New York; they have four children - Jesse, Cordelia, Albert and Sarah Ann.
