Born in New York in 1847 came to Wisconsin in 1868; located in Beetown then to Bloomington 1870, and then, in 1872, engaged in business, having learned the trade in New York State. Married in 1875 to Miss Minnie Warrick, a native of Grant Co., Wis. They have one daughter. Always been an active business man, and what he has be has made by his own industry. By his strict integrity his business has increased from the start.
