St. Rose; owns 200 acres of land, valued at $50 per acre; born in Ireland in 1835; came to America in 1842, and settled in Canada; removed with his parents in 1844 to this county. In 1861, he settled on this farm and married Sarah Hyland, a native of Ireland; they have five children - Mary Ann, William A., Joseph C., Thomas F., Annie Kate. Members of Catholic Church.
