O. Muscoda; was born in 1852, in Bohemia; son of Frank and Josephine Mathushek. His parents came to America when he was very young; he resided with them until he was 22 years of age. He was married, in 1874, to Sylvia Shafer, daughter of Mathias and Anna Shafer, of Castle Rock; they have three children, Edward H., Clarie E., Ida M. In politics he is a Republican. He is also member of the Lutheran Church. He owns 120 acres of land.
