WILKINSON, farmer, Sec. 34; P. O. Ellenboro; born in Indiana July 15, 1835; came to Wisconsin in 1850, with his parents. He enlisted in Co. C, 25th W. V. I., in 1862; discharged April 13, 1865, on account of wounds received at Atlanta, Ga., Aug. 15, 1864; he then returned to Wisconsin, and now owns 160 acres of land; made the improvements, and owns what he has by his own industry. His wife, Miss A. A. Bradley, was born in Ohio Nov. 16, 1836; came to Wisconsin with her parents in 1846; they died in Grant Co.; his father died in July, 1846; his mother died in March, 1876. They were married in 1860, and have one child - Eva, born Dec. 18, 1861. In politics, Greenbacker; liberal in religion. Has been Assessor, member of the Town Board, Justice of the Peace, Director and Treasurer of Schools. Is a member of the P. of H. and Good Templar's.
