MICHAEL CALVERT (deceased); born in England in 1810; emigrated to this country in 
1831, and settled in Galena [IL] and followed mining, then removed to Fair Play, 
Grant Co., Wis., where he died; since his decease the family have kept hotel; in 
politics he was a Democrat; in religion, was of the Protestant faith.  Was the 
father of ten children - Sarah, Mary, John, Joseph, Lizzie, Maggie, Maria, 
William, Ned, Martha.
