Mrs. Wamsley was born in Ireland in 1827. Came to this country at the age of thirteen years. And has ever since -- with the exception of two early years in Boston, resided in the neighborhood of Cassville and Waterloo. Her husband is a well known veteran of the Civil War. She was the mother of four children, Mrs. Thomas Eversol, Charles and Jerry, of Waterloo, and Mrs. Welsh, all of whom survive. Mrs. Wamsley had reached her ripe age of 84 years, 6 months and 5 days. Though crippled in body her mentality retained its poise to a remarkable degree until the close of her long life. Her last days were blest with the devoted care of husband and children. And she died as she had lived a firm believer in the Catholic faith. Mrs. Geo Johnson of South Lancaster, is her only surviving sister.
