June 6, 1898, he was united in hold matrimony to Rose Ann Cull of Mt. Hope. To this union three children were born: Frank preceded him in death at the age of seven months. Mr. Glynn’s first start in farming was on the J. C, Murphy farm where they lived for a year and a half and later moved to the place known as the Aududdle farm on which he lived until 18 years ago, when he moved to Woodman, where he since resided. Mr. Glynn was a very industrious man, always worked hard, and was honest and upright in his dealings with all. He was a true husband, father, friend and neighbor. He was in failing health for the past year and a half and under the doctor’s care for a year. His daughter Hilda of Chicago returned home the first of October to care for him until his death which occurred Dec. 17, 1932. His wife preceded him six months and 24 days previously. The funeral services were held at the Immaculate Conception church at Boscobel, Dec. 20. A deserving tribute was paid by the pastor, Rev. Thos. O’Shaughnessy, and the remains were laid to rest in St. Lawrence cemetery, Mt. Hope. He leaves to mourn his death his son Harry of Woodman, and daughter Hilda of Chicago, two sisters, Nora, Mrs. James Carmody, Mary, Mrs. Leo Roseman; two brothers, Timothy and Thomas, a half-brother, John Morgan, three grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives.
