Herald 1928 Potosi JACOB SCHUSTER DEAD Burned Body Found Monday Evening in Woods Near Home The body of Jacob Schuster aged 68, a well known resident of Potosi Township, was found in the woods at the top of Masseyville hill, near his home, Monday evening at six o’clock, by a brother, Peter, who was searching for him. The clothing except for the cap and one shoe, and the body were badly burned. The remains were taken to the Baumler Undertaking Parlor at Potosi, where an inquest was held. The verdict was “death from accidental causes”. As far as is known, Mr. Schuster had no ailments except asthma, the undertaker informed the Herald yesterday. It was evident that the unfortunate man had suffered an attack of some kind but may have died before being burned. He had been burning brush. Deceased was a bachelor. He is survived by his brother Anton, of Lancaster, a brother Peter, and a sister, Miss Lena, with whom he resided.
