She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Doser, a bright loveable girl and a most estimable wife. She was born September 4th, 1862, and married to Geo. Schumacher, an excellent young man, June 6 1895. One child remains to solace the father’s heart, but will never feel the fond, warm kisses and endearments of a sainted mother’s love. The funeral was largely attended, the services taking place at St. Andrew’s church in the German Settlement on Saturday forenoon. There the sun now smiles sadly over her new made grave and angels guard the portals of her lonely tomb. “Thy lay is in heaven, thy love is on earth.”
