D., Nov. 7th. Mrs. Pabst, with her husband, Mr. Phillip Pabst, came to Dakota from Hurricane, Grant county, Wis., about eight years ago, and settled upon the farm where she died. Mrs. Pabst was born in Germany, Feb. 7th, 1823; married to her now lonely husband in Dec. 1844; came to this country in 1846; settled in Wisconsin in 1847; and as above stated came to Dakota eight years ago. She was the mother of seven children, two of whom-young men-were called before the mother, and now lie by her side in the Dell Rapids cemetery. She was buried on Saturday, Nov. 8th. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. P. Coffman, of Dell Rapids. Mrs. Pabst died in the hope of a blissful resurrection, and this thought now cheers the hearts of those who mourn her loss.
