Obituary: Green County, Wisconsin: Rev. Wm. BUBB ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, April 2008 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ OBITUARY We mentioned last week the sickness of Rev. Wm. Bubb of Attica, we now have the very unpleasant duty of announcing his death, as having occurred at his home in Attica, Green Co., on Thursday Dec. 24th, 1874. His complaint was that of long standing, something of the nature of a fever sore; but had been kept down until within a few weeks of his death, when the usual medical treatment ceased to avail and he began to sink in spite of the best skill that could be employed. He was for a time, a resident of this place and worked at the trade of shoe making, preaching usually on Sundays. He was a man of mildness and without an enemy or a person who did not love him for his high christian graces. His funeral took place from the Methodist church here, of which society he had been an active member from youth. Sermon by Rev. Mr. Pengery, of Albany.
