Mrs. Persif Horn, seventy-two years old, passed away at her home on North
Second Street on Tuesday afternoon. She had been a sufferer from cancer for
a year and one-half, being confined to bed for the past three months. Mrs.
Horn had been living in this vicinity for six or seven years, and leaves to
mourn her loss, a daughter, Mrs. Tom Johnson, and three grandchildren, of
Evansville; two sisters, Mrs. Martin Edwards and Mrs. William Adamson, of
Belleville, and nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, all of whom live in
Beloit. Funeral services were held at her late home at 9:30 o'clock this
morning, after which the body was taken to Belleville, where interment will
be made at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
