Obituary: Green County, Wisconsin: Thomas William JONES ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, May 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ DEATH OF THOMAS JONES The death of Thomas William Jones occurred yesterday morning at 7 o'clock at the home of his brother, Arford Jones of Garfield avenue. He had to stop working on the Boyce buildings near Brooklyn some time ago on account of his heath and for the past two months has been at the home of his brother. He was born in the town of Albany, in Green county, Wisconsin, July 2, 1863, and has lived all of his life in this part of the state. About eighteen years ago he suffered a paralytic shock, from which he never entirely recovered. He had another stroke last March, and two between that time and his death. He leaves five brothers, Arford, Lauren, Charles and Walter of this city, and George of Wyoming, and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Williams, residing near Evansville. The funeral will be held at the home of Arford Jones, Friday morning at 11 o'clock and will be conducted by the Rev. Chas. E. Coon of the Methodist Epsicopal church.
