John King died at his home on Liberty Street on Friday at noon. He had been
ill since moving to this city about two months ago, coming here from
Dayton. An autopsy showed that death was the result of an internal abcess.
On Monday Rev. McDermott conducted the funeral services at the King home,
and interment was at Dayton that morning at eleven o'clock. Mr. King leaves
a wife and nine children, who, after the present school term, will move to
Belleville, where Mrs. King's relatives reside.
