Died: At the Central House in this city Thursday night, May 18, Miss Eva Kirkpatrick, aged 25 years. Miss Kirkpatrick was quite well known in this city having learned the dressmaking trade here two years ago. A few weeks since she returned to this city to sew and boarded at the Central house. Monday the young lady was taken ill and a physician summoned who pronounced the disease inflamation of the bowels. Her mother arrived from Dayton Monday evening and remained with her during her illness which from the first had not seemed alarming. The doctor called at eight o'clock Thursday evening and left the patient as he believed better; but at eleven o'clock the same evening the spirit took its flight. This is the fourth sudden death that our city in the past week has sustained and is indeed very sad. The remains were taken to the home near Dayotn Friday morning. The deceased was a member of the M. E. Church in that place. The funeral will be held at Dayton tomorrow. Rev. Miner will officiate. May 20, 1899, The Badger, Evansville, Wisconsin
