George Klusendorf, Eugene Leary, Barneveld, Frank Willoughby, Belleville,
in the employ of the Wis. Power & Light Co., were trimming trees Monday,
west of Belleville. Klusendorf was up in a walnut tree, sawed off a small
limb and it fell across the electric wires of 1320 volt. The end of the
limb projected near enough to him so that the current passed through his
body. His fellow workmen took him to the ground and use the Prone Pressure
system several hours but could not resuscitate him. He was 23 years of age.
The Company and employees did all they could to restore the life of the
young man.
