Obituary: Green County, Wisconsin: Jane LAYTON ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, May 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Jane Lloyd was born in Wales, February 19, 1841 and died in Albany, March 2, 1922 as a result of a fall the week previous. She was one of ten children of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lloyd and came to America with them in her childhood. She settled in Albany and she has lived in this vicinity all her life. She was married to Thomas Layton in 1877. To this union were born three children, two of them survive her. One daughter, Mrs. Thomas Dolan, died in March 11. Mr. Layton died in February 1917. She leaves to mourn their loss, two children, Charles of Albany, and Mrs. Albert Oliver of Rio Grando, Cal. One granddaughter, Ruth Dolan of Albany and three brothers and three sisters, Mrs. Wm. Lewis of Albany; Mrs. John Andrews of Chicago; Mrs. D. H. Williams of Neilsville, Thomas Lloyd of Evansville, James Lloyd of Chetek and Edward Lloyd of Neilsville.
