Y., April 15, 1818. He moved to Ohio in 1842, and from thence to Brooklyn, Wis. in 1848. He died at his home in Brooklyn May 12, 1892. Aged nearly seventy-four years. He was a man of particular traits of character, a good neighbor, kind and loving to his wife and children, a great friend to boys and young people. He had twice been honored with a seat in the state Legislature and was a useful member of that body. His death was caused from a wound in his foot causing lock-jaw. He was sick only a few days.
