From the Albany and Brodhead papers we learn of the death of Mr. John
Lockridge which occurred in the latter place June 27th, 1886, aged 71
years. Mr. Lockridge moved from Indiana and settled in Cooksville, where
the writer first knew him, afterwords living in Albany and Brodhead.
