Obituary: Green County, Wisconsin: Robert MCCANN ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, April 2008 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Robert McCann Dies From Heart Trouble Robert McCann, 69, who has not been feeling well of late was found dead in his barn Sunday afternoon. Arthur Tilley and others had errands to attend to with Mr. McCann who resided alone on a farm in the town of Brooklyn. As he could not be found about the house they went to the barn where they found his body on the floor. Some of the neighbors were at his place about 4 Saturday afternoon and Mr. McCann spoke about going out to do his chores when they left him, and the supposition is that he went to the barn soon after that and was stricken with heart trouble and expired. He was found on his back with his gloved hands across his breast. G. E. Booth & Sons were notified and they took the remains to Oregon where they await the arrival of an only sister, Mrs. King from Lyman, South Dakota. Burial will probably be at Dayton by the side of his parents. Deceased was a native of York State, but had been a resident of Green county many years.
