V. Atherton, at Clinton. The funeral was held from the Baptist church in Juda Sunday afternoon, services being conducted by the pastor, and the remains laid to rest in the family cemetery at that place. Deceased was in her 84th years. She was the daughter of "Elder" Patton who preached in Juda for over forty years.
