Nels Peterson died Thursday at his home in this village, after a lingering
illness of two months. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the
M. E. church, conducted by Rev. Stubb, of Stoughton, and interment at the
Jug Prairie cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and seven
children, Mrs. L. H. Campbell, of Evansville; Mrs. Peter Peterson, of
Madison; Miss Nettie, of Missoula, Mont.; Miss Anna, of Columbus, Miss.;
Clara, of Whitewater; Hans, of Stoughton, and Fred, of this place.
