Prucia Mary E. Hunt, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anson Hunt, was born in Silver Creek, N. Y. on the 16th day of September 1838, and died December 30, 1915, aged 77 years, 3 months and 14 days. In 1846 the family moved to Wisconsin settling on a farm two and one-half miles north of Dayton. On the sixteenth of October 1859, she was married to Henry L. Prucia of New York. She leaves to mourn her loss one son, Fred Prucia, of Oregon; and two daughters, Mrs. Alta Fletcher, of Belleville and Mrs. Hattie Greatsinger, of Evansville; also eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., January 1, at the Methodist church at Dayton, and interment was in the East Dayton cemetery. January 6, 1916, Evansville Review, Evansville, Wisconsin
