Obituary: Green County, Wisconsin: Carl ROSS ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, May 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ OBITUARY Carl Fred Wilhelm Ross, loved and honored by all who knew him, died November 28, at his home in the town of Albany, at the age of fifty years, one month and eight days, after a short illness and was buried December 1, at Albany. In 1897 he was married to Wilhelme Krause. Their matrimonial life was blessed with two sons and two daughters, Selbic, Crystal, Arlie and Royal. Twenty-seven years ago he joined the Friends Church, in the town of Brooklyn and served in different places of trust in the Church with perfect satisfaction, loved and honored by all the members. Besides his wife and children, he leaves three brothers, Emil of Janesville, Charlie of Magnolia, and Frank of Hastings, Minn; three sisters, Mrs. Herman Peterson of Albany, Mrs. Aug. Kleinsmith and Mrs. Charles Popanz, both of Evansville. His father died only eight months ago on March 9th. The funeral was held from the home at 12 o'clock Thursday, and at 1:00 o'clock from the Baptist Church in Albany. Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery, Albany. The pall bearers were Frank Asmus, of this city, Ferdinand Golz and Fred Ferdinand Lange of Brooklyn, Wm. Butts and Wm. Lange. December 8, 1921, Evansville Review, Evansville, Wisconsin
