Died: Sunday, Feb. 26, at the home of his son in Brooklyn, Mr. Daniel Shaw,
aged 85 years.

The deceased came to this state in 1846 and settled in the town of Brooklyn
where he has since spent the greater part of his life. He was most highly
respected by all. He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Chas. Hatfield and Miss
Eva Shaw of Gilmore, Ia. and Mrs. Delvin of Merrimac, Wis. and one son, Mr.
E. D. Shaw of Brooklyn. He was an uncle of Mr. Geo. Shaw of this city.
