Obituary: Green County, Wisconsin: Queenie Mae THOMPSON ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, May 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Queenie Mae DeRemer youngest daughter of Peter and Rosa DeRemer was born July 25, 1879 in the town of Brooklyn and departed this life December 12, 1928 at the age of 49 years, 4 months, and 17 days. On December 10th 1895 she was united in marriage to Mr. John Thompson. To this union 9 children were born, one son, Harold, died in infancy, and a daughter Mrs. Dorthea Neilson died December 4, 1918. Mrs Thompson leaves to mourn her departure her husband and 7 children, Earl and Elmer of Evansville; Mrs. Ulma Mueller of Orfordville; Joe, Howard, Otis, and Noble at home. Also four brothers and one sister. Mrs. Thompson has been a kind wife and mother, and a good neighbor. The sympathy of the whole community go out to the bereaved family. Funeral services were held at the home, Friday afternoon, December 4th at 2 o'clcok where a large number of relatives and friends assembled, there by testifying to the high esteem held for the departed.
