Documentation: From the February 28, 1880 Dunn County News:

Johnson-Hoover- At the residence of the bride's father, Feb. 21, 1880 by
Rev. S. A. Gilley, Mr. Frank Johnson and Miss Carrie Hoover, all of
Sherman, Dunn County, Wis.

From the March 6, 1880 Dunn County News:

-Weddings seem to be very common of ocurrences of late, Mr. Frank Johnson
and Miss Carrie Hover were married Feb. 21.  There are whisperings of
another but we wouldn't tell if we knew.

From the August 4, 1943 Dunn County News:

Frank M. Johnson, 83, late of the town of Sherman, died at the Bedient Rest
Home at Knapp Tuesday evening at 11:20.  Funeral services will be held
Saturday afternoon at two 9'clock at the Olson Funeral Home, the Rev. R.L.
Jamieson of the Methodist Church officiating.  Interment will be in the
town of Sherman Cemetery.

From the July 1, 1953 Dunn County News:

Carrie Belle Johnson, 88, passed away Saturday night 9:25 p.m, at Memorial
hospital.  Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Olson
Funeral Home with Rev. R.L. Sanasac officiating.

She was born in Hastings, Minn., October 26, 1864 and moved to the town of
Sherman at the age of 8, where she spent almost her entire life.  She was
united in marriage to Frank Johnson on February 21, 1880.  There were four
children born of this union.

She is survived by two daughters, Bertha, Mrs. Frank Ash, Roberts, Wis, and
Helen, Mrs. Harry Wilcox, city, one son, Frank of Downsville; sixteen
grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 1943 and one daughter,
Effie, in 1949.  Two brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death
