ASSEMBLYMEN. IRVINE L. LENROOT, Speaker; C. 0. MARSH, Chief Clerk; A. M. Anderson, Sergeant-at-Arms. The assembly consists of 100 members. They are chosen biennially and receive $500 for their service during the term. The speaker is chosen by the members and receives an additional $500 for his services as speaker. The assembly of 1003 contains 75 republicans and 25 democrats. SHEBOYGAN COUNTY. Second District. The towns of Greenbush, Herman, Holland, Lima, Lyndon, Mitchell, Mosel, Plymouth, Rhine, Russell, Scott, Sheboygan Falls, Sherman, and Wilson, the villages of Cedar Grove, Elkhart Lake, and Sheboygan'Falls, and the city of Plymouth. Population, 1900—25,202. GEOEGE W. KOCH (Rep.), was born Sept. 11, 1871, in Mayfield, Washington county, Wis., and was educated in the public schools and at Janssen's Institute of Milwaukee. He came to Beechwood in the spring of 1895 and engaged in the manufacture of butter and cheese until the fall of 1902 when he disposed of his interests and entered the general merchandise business and farming. He was elected to the office of chairman of the town board of his town in 1898 and has been chosen to that position each year since; he has also held the offices of justice of the peace and school district clerk since 1896. Was elected member of assembly in 1902, receiving 2,774 votes against 1,979 for Enos E. Eastman (Dem.), and 139 for Eobert H. Koehler (Soc. Dem.).
