ASSEMBLYMEN. IRVINE L. LENROOT, Speaker; C. 0. MARSH, Chief Clerk; A. M. Anderson, Sergeant-at-Arms. The assembly consists of 100 members. They are chosen biennially and receive $500 for their service during the term. The speaker is chosen by the members and receives an additional $500 for his services as speaker. The assembly of 1003 contains 75 republicans and 25 democrats. FOND DU LAC COUNTY. Second District. The towns of Alto, Ashford, Auburn, Byron, Eden, Eldorado, Lamartine, Metomen, Oaktield, Osceola, Ripon, Rosendale, Springvale and Waupun, the village of Brandon, the north ward of the city of Waupun, and the city of Ripon. Population, 1900—23,848. JOHN LOEBS (Rep.), was born in the town of Sherman, Sheboygan county, Wis., Sept. 10, 1853; was educated in the public schools; later attended Northwestern College at Naperville, Ill., for two years. In 1877 he came to Carnpbellsport and entered the general mercantile business as a member of the firm of Saemann, Loebs & Knickel, with which concern he has been actively identified ever since, he is also interested in the Plymouth Exchange bank and the First National bank of Campbellsport of which he is vice- president. Has never before sought or held a public office. Was elected member of assembly in 1902, receiving 2,565 votes against 3, scattering. Additional Comments: The Blue Book of the State of Wisconsin.
