ASSEMBLYMEN. IRVINE L. LENROOT, Speaker; C. 0. MARSH, Chief Clerk; A. M. Anderson, Sergeant-at-Arms. The assembly consists of 100 members. They are chosen biennially and receive $500 for their service during the term. The speaker is chosen by the members and receives an additional $500 for his services as speaker. The assembly of 1003 contains 75 republicans and 25 democrats. DOOR COUNTY. One District. Population, 1900—17,583. CHARLES REYNOLDS (Rep.) was born in Ireland, November 15, 1889; came to America and settled in Madison, Wis., in 1860; was appointed sergeant-major of the 12th Wis. Vol. Inf., September 27, 1861; was promoted to second lieuenant and mustered as captain of Company A; was appointed assistant adjutant general on the staff of Gen. Ewing in 1865; was engaged in the lumber business and real estate until 1900; was elected to the assembly in 1902 without opposition. Additional Comments: The Blue Book of the State of Wisconsin.
