ASSEMBLYMEN. IRVINE L. LENROOT, Speaker; C. 0. MARSH, Chief Clerk; A. M. Anderson, Sergeant-at-Arms. The assembly consists of 100 members. They are chosen biennially and receive $500 for their service during the term. The speaker is chosen by the members and receives an additional $500 for his services as speaker. The assembly of 1003 contains 75 republicans and 25 democrats. SHAWANO COUNTY. One district. Population, 1900—27,475. MICHAEL J. WALLRICH (Rep.), was born in the town of Brighton, Kenosha county, March 25, 1857; educated in the common and parochial schools in the town of Brighton; entered the state University of Wisconsin in the year 1878. Graduated in the Modern Classical course with the class of 1883, and graduated from the law department of the University of Wisconsin in 1885; located at Shawano, Oct., 18S5, where he has practiced law ever since; taught school one year in Kenosha county before entering the University; city attorney of Shawano nine years; district attorney for Shawano county for the years 1880 and 1890; chairman of the Republican County committee nine years; delegate to the Republican State convention of 1886, 1888, 1890, 1892, 1894, 1896, 1900 and 1902; member of the county board one year; president of the Shawano County Agricultural society, 1899 and 1900; mayor of Shawano, 1900, 1901 and 1902; mayor at present; member of the board of public library four years and is a member at present; elected to the assembly in 1902, receiving 2,245 votes against 1,388 for C.
