MEMBERS OF THE FIFTY-EIGHTH CONGRESS. UNITED STATES. ASSEMBLY. IRVINE L. LENROOT, Speaker; C. O. MARSH, Chief Clerk; Nicholas STREVELER, Sergeant-at-Arms. The assembly consists of 100 members. They are chosen biennially and receive $500 for their services during the term. The speaker is chosen by the members and receives an additional $500 for his services as speaker. The assembly of 1905 contains 85 republicans, 11 democrats, and 4 social democrats. BUFFALO AND PEPIN COUNTIES. One District. Population, 1900—24,670. FRED J. BOHRI (Rep.), of Fountain Oily, Buffalo county, was born at Fountain City, Aug. 20, 1870; Graduated from Fountain City high schools 1887, and; from Winona, Minn., high schools 1889; is a general merchant and grain dealer by occupation. Has served a number of terms as member of county board, also as mayor of Fountain City for two terms, as well as chairman of the Buffalo county republican committee; is secretary of the republican congressional committee of the Seventh congressional district; was delegate to the republican state conventions in 1898, 1900, 1902 and 1904 Elected member of assembly in 1904, receiving votes against 1,576 for Henry Pattison (Dem.).
