LINCOLN COUNTY RICHARD KAMKE (Dem.) was the only Democrat elected to the legislature in November, 1922. He was born in Schofield, Marathon county, June 3, 1883. He received a common school, high school and business college education. He is at present engaged in the hardware and implement business at Merrill. He has been an alderman in Merrill for ten years and has served as president of the common council for three years.
