REPRESENTATIVES SIXTH CONGRESSIONAL, DISTRICT Calumet, Pond du Lac, Green Lake, Manitowoc, Marquette and Winnebago counties. FLORIAN LAMPERT (Rep.) was elected a member of the 65th and 66th congresses at the same time in Nov. 1918, being chosen to succeed James H. Davidson (deceased) and at the same time being elected for the regular term. He was re-elected in 1920 and re-elected in 1922. He was born July 8, 1863, in West Bend, and was educated in the public school and then engaged in mercantile business in Oshkosh. He was sheriff of Winnebago county in 1897-98, comptroller of the city of Oshkosh 1893-96, and was commissioner of the city 1914-18. He was married May 4, 1885, to Mary C. Vetter, to whom seven children were born, five sons and two daughters. All of the sons served their country in the world war, the eldest, Lt. Col. J. G. B. Lampert, died in France, Jan. 6, 1919.
