THIRTY-FIRST SENATORIAL DISTRICT Adams, Juneau, Marquette, and Monroe Counties. ORLAND S. LOOMIS (Rep.) was horn at Mauston on November 2, 1893. He was educated in the common and high schools of that city, Ripon College, and the University of Wisconsin, graduating from the Law School in 1917. He has been a practicing attorney at Mauston since that time. In 1918- 1919 he served in the World War as a member of the American Expeditionary Forces in France. He served as city attorney of Mauston from 1921 to 1931. He represented Juneau County in the Assembly in 1929 and served during that session as a member of the Interim Committee on Education. In 1930 he was elected to the Senate and has served in the 1931 regular session, the 1931-1932 special session, and the 1933 regular session served as chairman of the veterans memorial commission.
