Poquette, widow; Sarah J. Davis; John H. Poquette and Francis, his wife; Louis Poquette and Margarette, his wife; Louisa J. Poquette, Joseph L. Poquette, George W. Poquette, unmarried; and Roselia S. Poquette, a minor; said parties being all of the heirs-at-law of Louis Poquette, deceased, George Jeuck as special guardian of said Rosalia Poquette; of the County of Iowa and state of Wisconsin, party of the first part, and John Weber of the County of Iowa, and state of Wisconsin, party of the 2nd part; Witnesseth that the said party of the 1st part, for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand [$1,000] dollars to them in hand, paid by the said party of the 2nd part,…do sell…the following described real estate as follows: The Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section No. 12, in Township No. 5, North, of Range No. 2 East, containing 40 acres more or less… In witness whereof, the said party of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals: The said Rosalia S. Poquette being a minor, the said George Jeuck signed this ded as her special guardian having been appointed as such on the 11th day of April, 1884 by order of George Clemenson, judge of circuit court of said county and state.
