From the Missouri Historical Society Collection of Fur Trade Ledgers, Reel 17, 
XX, No. 1, volume ZZ, AFC Northern Dept, Michilimackinac, Journal 1834-1851 and 
also the papers of Lawe and Grignon at the Wisconsin State Historical Society 
in Madison, volume X, page 138:

August 19, 1834, The Green Bay Outfit, 1834-assigned to Lawe were Jean Baptiste 
Primault and Touissant Dorai. Assigned to Porlier and Grignon were: Louis 
Paquette, Theontine Chevallier, Narcipe Mailhot, Jean Baptiste Roque, Oliva 
Blanchette and Celestin Demarais. The previous year’s crew who returned to the 
Green Bay Outfit were: Pierre Descent, Louis L’Amirant, Daniel Parlardeau, Jean 
Baptiste Beau Pre, Pierre G. Bernard, Pierre Houbrick, John Kittson, and 
Francois Mailhot. They were also all listed as purchasing sundries at the 
retail store on 2 other pages. 

Additional Comments:
Notice the names L’Amirant and Beau Pre. Were they the same men described by 
George Featherstonhaugh in his "Canoe Voyage Up the Minnay Sotor?"
